Our team of volunteers are servers, chefs, cleaners, buyers, washer-uppers, Trustees, treasurer and a book-keeper from all walks of life including hospitality, retail, analytics, nursing, floristry, catering, the volcom sector and ministry. Our volunteers hail from Yorkshire, Zimbabwe, Mongolia, Ireland and Hong Kong.
We work week in week out with our friends the leaders and students of Green Pastures, Mattersey Hall who shower love, attention and ministry support to our clients where it is welcomed and requested. Many of these are graduates of a lifestyle of rejection, disappointment and disadvantage; cycles of addiction and crisis who have found stability, faith and courage. In turn they reach out to those still trapped in vulnerability, poverty and exhausting patterns of setback and exclusion.
